After Azam Khan's Buffaloes, UP Cops Fret Over Lawmaker's Dog

Ram Shankar Katheria's dog, Kalu, was reunited with his family on Saturday.

Agra: The Agra police was asked to look for a missing dog -- a black Labrador of Agra lawmaker and former union minister Ram Shankar Katheria.

In her complaint to Superintendent of Police (city) Sushil Dhule, lawmaker's wife Mridula Katheria on Friday asked the police to put a team on the job immediately. Ms Katheria asked them to look for the dog as they looked for the Samajwadi Party's Azam Khan's buffaloes a few years back.

She said the Labrador, Kalu, was such a dear pet, "Now the other dog left at her residence is sad and is not eating."

Thankfully for the police, before they could do much, Kalu was spotted by a BJP worker at a colony about two kilometres away from his home, and reunited with his family on Saturday.

The supporters of the lawmaker had earlier said if the police can search buffaloes for an Uttar Pradesh minister, what is stopping them from helping the lawmaker find his dog.
