Popular cine dialogue writer Tripuraneni Maharathi passed away on Friday. He was 82. Maharadhi, who hailed from Pamarru in Krishna district, was known for his punch dialogues. He is a favourite writer of veteran cine actor Krishna.
Maharathi became popular for his dialogues written for Alluri Sitaramaraju, which happened to be the 100th movie of Krishna. He also penned dialogues for several hit films. Maharathi started his career with dubbing movies.
Later, he produced Rythu Bharatam in which Krishna played the lead role. He floated Trilinga Praja Pragati Party on December 23, 2006 to strive for the welfare of Backward Communities, Scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes, minorities and women and rural development.
Telugu Desam Party president Nara Chandrababu Naidu condoled the death of Maharathi.
