Dehradun:
At least 27 people have been killed in the last 48 hours in rain-related incidents as floods and landslides have rocked the hill state of Uttarakhand.

Roads have been damaged and entire villages have been cut off as torrential rain rocked the hill state in the last two days.
While 15 deaths have been reported in Pauri Garhwal district, seven people died in Dehradun along with four in Pithoragarh and one in Haridwar.
Most of the deaths have occurred due to landslides, cloudbursts and collapse of houses.
All the major rivers including the Ganga flowed near the danger limits, prompting villagers staying close to the rivers to move to higher areas.
Around 450 houses have been damaged in several parts of the state.
Owing to heavy rain, the annual Chardham pilgrimage has been suspended.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered condolences to those who have lost their dear ones in the heavy rain.
On Friday, nearly 250 residents of a village in Pauri district were cut off from the main taluk after roads were washed away.
Rescue efforts have been channelled by the State Disaster Response Forces (SDRF) along with the army and the police.
"Choppers were used for rescue operations. 123 people were rescued. They've been brough to a facility where they're being attended to. Adequate arragement has been made for ration through choppers," said Bhaskar Anand, secretary, state disaster relief.
