Siddharth Trivedi, a Rajasthan Royals bowler, has deposed as a prosecution witness in the IPL spot-fixing case being probed by the Delhi Police, sources have said. He recorded his statements in a Delhi court today.

Vikram Aggarwal, the Chennai hotelier summoned by the police for questioning in the IPL betting case has reached the Mumbai Police's crime branch. Mr Aggarwal had been asked to surrender before the Tamil Nadu Police on Thursday but he missed the deadline. His plea for anticipatory bail was rejected by the Madras High Court. The Mumbai Police had separately summoned him for questioning today.
Police say Mr Aggarwal been active in betting circles and was the one who introduced small-time actor Vindoo Dara Singh to Gurunath Meiyappan, the son-in-law of BCCI chief N Srinivasan. Both are being interrogated on charges of betting. The police custody of Mr Meiyappan, which was to end today, has been extended to June 3.
The Mumbai Police will today seek custody of alleged bookie Tinku, who was arrested by the Delhi Police. According to sources, his interrogation is likely to throw new light on the case.

Cricketer Ankeet Chavan was granted conditional bail till June 6 for his wedding by a Delhi Court on Thursday. Chavan had sought bail on the ground that his marriage is fixed for June 2.
