New Delhi:
Now those bleary-eyed appearances at the Delhi airport can be overcome.
For Rs 315 an hour, you can rent a Nap Cabin at T3. Anything that has "cabin" in the title usually doesn't suggest luxury or comfort. However, these "offer personal comfort for a cozy nap during a passenger's stay at the terminal at the time of transit or for early morning departures and late arrivals. These cabins are installed at the international departure pier, opposite boarding gate number 17 at T3," explains the company that manages the airport, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL).
The cabins are equipped with a bed, a desk, Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV, and a DVD player and cell phone charging sockets.
DIAL says passengers in transit could find these booths a real steal compared to checking into nearby hotels.
London Heathrow's Terminal 4, Gatwick South Terminal, Amsterdam's Schipol Airport, Singapore's Changi and China's Hong Kong International Airport are some of the airports which offer snooze cabins.
