Ghaziabad: Manager beaten to death by protesting workers
Ghaziabad: A senior official of a private firm in Ghaziabad was allegedly beaten to death by dismissed workers during a clash between employees and some members of the top management, police said.

Joginder Singh, the Human Resource Manager of Indo- Japanese company Allied Nippon, and other senior officers were injured in a clash with the dismissed workers on Saturday.

Singh, who received serious injuries on his head and chest, succumbed to his wounds at a hospital on Saturday night, Ghaziabad Senior Superintendent of Police Raghuvir Lal said.

The shocking incident comes two years after Managing Director of Graziano Transmissioni in Greater Noida was hammered to death by dismissed workers.

The incident at the Allied Nippon factory took place during the strike called by the factory's labour union to demand restoration of seven dismissed employees, police said.

The injured included Vice President and Additional general manager of the company, they said.

Allied Nippon manufactures break shoes of vehicles.
