All four boys are hospitalised with burn injuries
Sagar:
Four young boys, aged between 8 and 14, had their hands burnt with hot boiling oil after they were suspected of stealing Rs 500 from a neighbour in their village in Madhya Pradesh.
On Wednesday, Bhagwan Das, a daily wage labourer in Jhila village near Sagar, about 225 km from state capital Bhopal, found that Rs 500 were missing from his house. Suspecting the four boys to have stolen his money, considering they were playing close to his house earlier in the day, Bhagwan Das picked them up from school the next day.
At home, along with his wife and brother, Bhagwan Das allegedly made the boys dip their hands in boiling oil, hoping for a confession, when they denied the allegation. Soon, one of the boys was able to escape captivity and informed his parents about the incident.
The parents then approached the police and the remaining three boys were rescued and rushed to hospital. All the three accused were arrested after the parents filed a First Information Report of FIR.
