New Delhi:
Aam Aadmi Party's Yogendra Yadav addressing a press conference this evening, expressed his party's displeasure towards the bad language used by Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti towards political opponents.
Following are the highlights of the press conference:- PAC discussed issues related to Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti
- PAC has taken all reports into account
- Party expresses its displeasure towards the use of bad language by Bharti towards political opponents
- He has been asked not to use such language
- There is nothing wrong in what Somnath Bharti did (during 'midnight raids')
- He went there at the behest of the people... he was merely responding to repeated complaints he had received from his constituents
- Looking at the evidence, prima facie, we don't find anything procedurally wrong. Mr Bharti did not misuse his powers as a minister
- A judicial inquiry has been ordered by the Lieutenant Governor. That report is expected in one month. If Mr Bharti is found to be wrong, we will take appropriate action
- If two-three people are involved in some wrongdoing, the entire community isn't at fault and there should be no racist undercurrents
- Any foreign national who feels unsafe - his or her problems should be redressed
- The agitation was on the point that does that Delhi government have any say in the law and order in the city
