Gurgaon:
Anna Hazare, 74, is recovering satisfactorily from his 12-day hunger strike, said the doctors attending to him at a hospital in Gurgaon.
Dr Naresh Trehan who has supervised the medical attention the Gandhian has received through his fast said the 74-year-old is too weak to meet with visitors. However, Dr Trehan said, he is improving steadily, and is 30 per cent better than yesterday.
Anna will today be given soft fruit as his first step towards being re-introduced to solids.
Anna had galvanized a humongous people's movement against corruption, at the heart of which was the new anti-graft law, the Lokpal Bill.
