The Aam Aadmi Party today launched its national campaign today from Haryana, with party chief Arvind Kejriwal addressing a rally in Rohtak. Here are the highlights of what Mr Kejriwal said:
- From April 1, prices of fertilizers will also go up
- Both BJP and Congress are together on this
- I wrote to Modi ji, he didn't reply
- I asked him if prices will be $4 or $8 after you become the PM
- Modi ji didn't reply, now if he doesn't reply to me..how will he reply to you?
- People say we don't know much about governance
- We know how to run 'janata ki sarkaar'
- They give subsidy to Tata and Reliance but no one speaks
- We gave subsidy to the poor and they cried foul
- But we are determined; we will definitely give subsidy to the poor
- I challenge if anyone has done as much work as us in 1.5 months then I will quit politics
- They ask why I resigned, BJP says I ran away
- But I quit on the grounds of my principles
- BJP, Congress didn't let my Lokpal Bill to be passed
- I didn't go there for the seat of a Chief Minister
- I haven't left, I am very much here
- I will return if Delhi people vote me back in
- If you all are happy with your lives, then you may vote for BJP, Congress
- But if you are unhappy and want change, then let us fight this battle together
- I am not here for Lok Sabha
- You have to bring candidates on all 10 seats
- We must remove party politics, this time Aam Aadmi will contest and win
