Mr Rastogi was an office bearer of the BJP in Uttarakhand
The body of Rakesh Rastogi, a BJP leader, was found in his car on the Baheri highway in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly district on Saturday evening.
Mr Rastogi, a resident of Kiccha in Uttarakhand, had gone missing on Friday.
He was reportedly stabbed multiple times and was found with his hands tied behind his back.
Mr Rastogi was an office bearer of the BJP in Uttarakhand and held the post of divisional head.
