New Delhi:
The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has served a legal notice to the Congress over its website being redirected to the Congress (AICC) website.
According to sources, the BJP was worried for the last few months over low hits to its website. Some minor checks revealed surprising results.
If a surfer types www.bjp.com in his/her browser, the webpage will automatically take them to the All India Congress Committee's official site.
After research, it was found that an old company - Bharat Janata Prakashan - was the owner of BJP.com before the party went cyber, sources said.
Few months ago the domain was bought by someone and autodirected to the AICC official website.
