New Delhi:
Two Air India pilots have been suspended because they reportedly allowed an actor to join them in the cockpit for a part of the flight from Bangalore to Hyderabad last month.
"Both pilots have been suspended and taken off the roster. An inquiry is going on," airline officials said to the Press Trust of India.
A passenger reportedly complained about the incident.
However, a representative for the actor, Nitya Menon, who has starred in Kannada and Telugu films said the report is untrue.
The pilots have been identified as Jagan M Reddy and S Kiran.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is investigating the complaint which alleges that the actor was allowed to use a seat in the cockpit usually reserved for an observer or examiner.
