New Delhi: He has always evaded arrest and has kept Indian security agencies on their toes. After successfully keeping his appearance mysteriously camouflaged for at least two decades, the self-styled commander in chief of the banned United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) Paresh Baruah has surprisingly revealed himself in a photograph.

The photograph released by Baruah himself via an e-mail shows him posing with his cadres in a show of strength from a hideout in Burma.

It has been confirmed that the picture of Baruah was shot on January 17 this year near National Socialist Council of Nagaland - Khaplang (NSCN(K)) camps at Taka inside Burma.

Baruah has greyed over the years but even though most of his colleagues have decided to give up arms, he refuses to give in.

At a time when the Government of India has bailed out all the ULFA leaders arrested over the years to facilitate peace talks, Baruah has resurfaced and this time by even giving away his appearance.
