Pakistani forces launched a fresh assault in Arnia on Sunday
New Delhi:
The Pakistani forces fired at two Indian posts in Sabjiyan in the Pooch sector on the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
This comes a day after heavy exchange of fire was reported between Indian and Pakistani forces along the International Border or IB in Jammu and Kashmir's Arnia Sector.
One person was injured in the shelling yesterday and was rushed to the hospital.
After a brief lull, Pakistan on Saturday violated ceasefire twice along the IB and Line of Control or LoC in Poonch, drawing strong retaliation from India.
The International Border has witnessed heavy firing between October 1 and October 9; 8 people have been killed and over 90 injured in the violence.
Over 32,000 people have fled from their homes near the border.
