In a message to teachers across the country on Teachers' Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked them to "widen the horizon of your students' thinking" and "encourage them to think about nation, society and environment."
He also said that teachers' "determination and sincerity" will shape the destiny of the nation and also lay the foundation and the building blocks of the society.
