Islamabad:
Former Pakistani President Parvez Musharraf left a court in Islamabad quickly today to avoid being arrested after his arrest was ordered.
Mr Musharraf's personal security quickly escorted him away in his bullet-proof black SUV to an unknown location, according to local media.
The Islamabad High Court ordered the arrest of the former military ruler for sacking judges when in power in 2007.
The former army chief returned to Pakistan last month after nearly four years of self-imposed exile to contest a May 11 general election, despite the possibility of arrest on various charges and death threats from the Pakistani Taliban.
