Dubai:
Three members of an Indian family have been found dead in their house in the Ras Al Khaimah emirate of the UAE, in what is suspected to be case of suicide over financial problems.
The deceased, including the father, mother and their daughter, were found hanging on the day of Eid, Emarat Al Youm an Arabic daily said.
''The bodies were discovered by the police after complaints by neighbours about an odour emitting from the house for the past three days,'' said Brigadier Khamis Al Hadidi, Director General, Police Operations, Ras Al Khaimah Police.
The man believed to be 44 years old, was found hanging from the ceiling of the hall while his 31-year-old wife was found hanging in the bedroom and their eight-year-old daughter was found dead in another room with her face covered.
The bodies have been transfered to forensic laboratory. The identity of the trio has still not be established. Initial investigations reveal that the man had financial problems, which may have probably forced him to end his own life and that of his family's, the report said.
