Kabul:
The Indian and Pakistani foreign ministers along with Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik met over lunch in Kabul on Thursday, after Hamid Karzai was sworn-in as Afghanistan president for a second term.
S M Krishna Krishna and Shah Mehmood Qureshi were seated next to each other at the luncheon hosted by Afghan Foreign Minister Rangin Dadfar Spanta.
Just before the lunch meeting, Hillary Clinton had a separate meeting with India's Foreign Minister SM Krishna.
The meeting comes just before the Indian prime minister travels to the Commonwealth Summit in Trinidad next week where he is expected to meet the Pakistani leadership.
The two are in Kabul to attend the swearing in ceremony of Karzai, who was administered the oath of office for a second five-year presidential term.
Krishna and Qureshi had earlier met on September 27 on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York with progress on the Mumbai attacks case as the focus of their discussion.
