Woman suicide bomber kills three in Pakistan

Islamabad: A woman suicide bomber detonated herself at the main entrance to a court in a Pakistani city on Tuesday at around 0730 local time. Three police personnel were killed in the attack, a media report said.

Seven other people, including three policemen, were injured in the attack in Nowshera, about 50 km east of Peshawar, Xinhua quoted TV channel Duniya as saying.

Preliminary reports indicate that a homemade bomb was planted at a police checkpoint situated at an entrance to the court where women are scanned and searched.

Video on local television channels showed the aftermath of the attack, with police searching through rubble on the ground outside the building.
