Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's office has been burgled and computers, documents and reports have been stolen, the police said on Friday.
The theft took place late last night at Mr Sisodia's temporary office in east Delhi.
"There was a robbery at the Patparganj office of Deputy CM late night on Thursday. The exact time is not yet known," said senior police officer Omvir Singh.
The robbers allegedly cut through a wire mesh, picked the lock and turned the CCTV cameras away before ransacking the office. They also stole the CCTV recording.
The staff reported the theft this morning, after which a police team arrived with a dog squad. Mr Singh said a forensic team has also taken fingerprints.
The ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)'s Pankaj Singh has been quoted as saying that letterheads, documents and CPUs of two computers are missing.
