New Delhi: A new song of Sanjay Dutt's much-awaited film Bhoomi, titled Kho Diya, has been unveiled by the makers of the film today. The two-and-a-half minute song features Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjay Dutt and Sidhant Gupta. In the song, Bhoomi (Aditi) is seen recalling the happier times in her life as she has been left completely shattered after tragic turn of events. Her father Arun (Sanjay Dutt) and fiance Neeraj (Sidhanth) are seen trying to comfort her. Kho Diya has been sung by Sachin Sanghvi. The beautiful lyrics of the song have been written by Priya Saraiya and the music has been composed by Sachin-Jigar.

Bhoomi has been directed by Omung Kumar. The film marks Sanjay Dutt's comeback to the big screen after a gap of three years. He last featured in a small role in 2014 movie PK, starring Aamir Khan.

Bhoomi is Sanjay Dutt's first film post her five-year jail term.

Bhoomi will explore the relationship between a father and daughter. The trailer of the movie was unveiled by the makers of the film in August.

This is the first time Aditi Rao Hydari will be sharing the screen space with Sanjay Dutt.

In a recent interview with news agency IANS, Sanjay Dutt talked about his forthcoming movie and said that 'it is a special story' and the whole shooting experience was 'superb.'

"The film talks about the special bonding of a parent and a child. It's a special story about everything that I believe in -- women's empowerment and gender equality and Omung is a fantastic director, Aditi (who features as Sanjay's onscreen daughter in Bhoomi) is a very good actress... The whole shooting was superb," IANS quoted Mr Dutt as saying.

Bhoomi has been co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Sandeep Singh and Omung Kumar. The film also stars Sharad Kelkar and Shekhar Suman in pivotal roles.

Actress Sunny Leone will feature in Bhoomi's song Trippy Trippy.

Bhoomi is scheduled to release in theatres on September 22.
