A cook working for a couple in Gurgaon's Magnolia Apartments stole employers' flat-screen televisions, jewelry and Jaguar.

A young cook in Gurgaon robbed his employers blind - and then used their Jaguar as his get-away car.
On Saturday evening, the cook, identified by some media reports as Shankar, allegedly spiked the meal he had made and drugged the maid, who like him worked for the Ranas, a couple living in the ultra-posh Magnolia Apartments in Gurgaon near Delhi. Then, he helped himself to an array of valuables including flat-screen televisions and jewelry before taking off in Amit Rana's Jaguar.
While Mr Rana was out of town, his wife was not home and returned to find her maid unconscious and the Jaguar missing on Saturday evening.
The car was found abandoned the same evening not far from the Ranas's apartment.

Shankar, who belongs to Nepal, has not been found.
