Ace shuttler along with her parents offered special prayers at famous Simhavahini Mahankali temple.
Hyderabad:
It was thanksgiving time for Olympic Silver medal winner PV Sindhu.
Clad in traditional white saree, the ace shuttler along with her parents offered special prayers at famous Simhavahini Mahankali temple in the old city area of Hyderabad on Saturday.
Sindhu's parents, PV Ramana and P Vijaya, are known to be devout and visiting temples is a daily routine for the family.
"I always seek the blessings of the Goddess and prayed for the welfare of every citizen," Sindhu said after she emerged from the temple.
Sindhu and family had also participated in the concluding festivities of the 12-day Krishna Pushkar at Vijayawada, just a day after she returned from Rio Olympics.
