New Delhi:
A lawmaker from Bihar, Pappu Yadav today allegedly misbehaved with an airhostess on a Jet Airways flight from Patna to Delhi.
The incident happened when the airhostess asked the lawmaker not to throw the leftover food in the aisle.
"Yadav was extremely unruly with the cabin crew when she asked him not to throw the leftover food in the aisle and also misbehaved with her," an airline source said.
A member of parliament, Mr Yadav was expelled from Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) for anti-party activities in May this year .
Jet Airways said in a statement, "The captain of the flight 9W-728 before landing at Delhi requested ATC for security assistance at the gate due to a disruptive guest on board. The guest was led by security agencies on arrival."
Mr Yadav has denied the allegation, "He said nothing of this sort happened. This is a political conspiracy against me," he told NDTV.
So far no formal complaint has been lodged with security officials.
