Mumbai:
A month after the state Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sought help from the central agencies in connection with allegations against Maharashtra's Water Resource Minister Sunil Tatkare and his family of amassing huge wealth, the Enforcement Directorate has begun its preliminary enquiry into the case.
The mandate of the agency is to probe whether the case fits under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
