As a massive fire in Mount Abu in Rajasthan enters its fourth day, four lakh litres of water have been poured into the hill station and its surrounding areas by the Air Force.
"70% of the fire is under control but (it's) still not enough for comfort," a government official told NDTV this morning.
The fire began on Friday in the thickly-forested area and the cause has not yet been determined. Air Force helicopters are busy with "Operation Bambi Bucket" - showering down water on the worst-affected areas.

The fire began close to the famous spot used by tourists to witness sunsets. It's also called "Honeymoon Point" on account of the number of newly-weds who choose it for photographs.
Yesterday, thick winds spread the flames, with helicopters being used to combat them and forest department officers working on the ground for emergency services.
"Today, the fire is under control yet it is raging at scattered places and can be controlled by the fire fighters on the ground. Therefore, the helicopters did not take off for the operation today," said Vijay Pal Singh, an officer with forest department.
The Army was also requested to help yesterday in providing assistance.
