It was the Day 10 of the Monsoon session of Parliament today. Yesterday, proceedings of the Lok Sabha were disrupted as members of some Opposition parties created uproar over the political developments in Bihar and some other issues. Nitish Kumar of the Janta Dal-United was took oath as Chief Minister again allying with BJP, giving a sharp blow to the Mahagadbandhan or Grand alliance in the state. Sushma Swaraj Other issues that have witnessed heated debate during the Monsoon Session include farmer suicides, atrocities on Dalits, cow vigilantism, and problems arising from the Goods and Services Tax or GST.

Rajendra Agrawal (BJP) demanded a probe into the matter, alleging that a former Home Minister, without naming P Chidambaram, was behind the "conspiracy".
"Sushil Kumar Shinde said he was not the home minister then. We all know who was the home minister. There should be a probe to find out if there was a conspiracy," Mr Agrawal said during the Zero Hour.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley told the Lok Sabha that the defined health packages under the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) and Senior Citizen Health Insurance Scheme (SCHIS) do not cover AYUSH treatment or medication.
These two are the two major health insurance schemes of the central government.
