Education Best way to Fight Poverty, Says PM Modi: Highlights

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed an event in his constituency Varanasi where he distributed 501 pedal rickshaws and 101 e-rickshaws.

• For years we have only heard the slogan of 'garibi hatao'.
• It is a tradition to talk about the welfare of the poor day and night.
• But there has been very little change in the lives of the poor.

• I appeal to rickshaw wallahs here, you have the right to be upset with me, but don't compromise on your children's education because of poverty.
