Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today filed a defamation suit against State Congress Chief spokesperson, K K Mishra for levelling baseless allegations against him and his wife.
The defamation suit was filed here in the court of District and Session Judge, Sushma Khosla.
The court will take up the matter on June 26.
Mr Chouhan's action comes after Mr Mishra had alleged last week, involvement of Mr Chouhan and his family members in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam, related to recruitment in various government jobs and also in the Pre- Medical Test (PMT).
The Chief Minister however, in a series of tweets yesterday, rubbished all allegations and announced to filed a defamation suit against the Congress leader.
