SSC CGL 2017: Commission Adds 7 New Exam Cities This Year

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started online registration process for one of the much awaited examinations of the year,
SSC CGL 2017. The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam, which is held every year for graduates and witnesses huge response from government job aspirants. Every year large number of candidates register for the exam. The examination is held at various centres under the respective regional offices of the Commission, nation wide.
This year, the Commission has added 7 new exam cities to the list. This includes: Berhampore (Odisha), Bharatpur (Rajasthan), Vijaywada (Andhra Pradesh), Nizamabad (Telangana), Warangal (Telangana), Ahmednagar and Alibaug (both in Maharashtra).
This is a good news for candidates of these regions, as now they have a chance to appear for SSC CGL 2017 from their own place. Though exactly not ascertained, but increased number of applicants every year, might be the main reason behind this move of the Commission.

With the inclusion of these new exam cities, SSC has not only encouraged government job aspirants, but also given them a chance to appearing in the Tier 1 exam of one of the prestigious examinations of the country.
The last date for submission of applications for SSC CGL 2017 is 16 June 2017. Applicants need to complete the online registration within the deadline at ssconline.nic.in.
