Having a bad day? Perhaps a smiling sloth's selfie will cheer you up. While trekking through a jungle, Nicolas Huskar validated the existence of the selfie stick with an incredible photo of himself and a sloth hanging upside down, as sloths do. Posted on imgur on July 4, the picture has gone viral and has been viewed almost two million times so far.
The photo has been dubbed a 'slofie' and the sloth's smile is winning the Internet.
A comment on the post reads, "Is it really a sloth selfie if the sloth isn't taking the picture?"
The picture captures a rare moment because sloths, usually found in the forests of South and Central America, are shy creatures. This one, however, looks like its happy to pose or this human.
Here's the picture, location unknown.
