In an attempt to draw in Indian travellers, United Kingdom's national carrier has posted a heartwarming video about a crew member who fell in love with India and subsequently formed a bond with the country.
The ad shows flight attendant Helena meeting passenger Anandi - a senior citizen from Hyderabad - on her maiden flight to India. She helps Anandi with her seat belt and socks, the older woman helps Helena with her hair. Helena even comforts her when the lady tears up because she's missing her son. At the end of the journey, Anandi invites Helena to her house for a special meal and a beautiful gift. Indian hospitality forms the basis for this video.
The ad is inspired from real life and has been directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, who made Masaan.
