A poem being widely circulated across different social media platforms is leaving a trail of thrilled readers in its wake.
Why, you ask? Because it's really two poems in one, combining two completely opposing world views into one. It's uniquely inspiring, lifting you up just after you go plummeting down.
At first reading, it's about a frustrating, horrible day - the kind that makes you rant about an evil world, in which the prospect of happiness is bleak.
Reading the poem might at first be tough, even depressing - but read right till the end. That's where you'll find a surprise gift waiting.
Just remember, it's all about perspective.
Read the poem again, this time from the bottom to the top.

And now that you've read the poem (twice, hopefully), here's a little backstory.
Turns out the poem has been around for some time but was actually written by Brooklyn teen Chanie Gorkin for a class assignment. A year or so ago, she shared it on
Poetry Nation and it was also published in a book titled
Beyond the Sea: Odyssey.
"Eleventh grade student Chanie Gorkin may soon experience her best day ever with her poem "Worst Day Ever?" which, in the past 24 hours, has just gone viral on social media," it says on this
website.
The poem was just recently rediscovered pinned to a grocery store bulletin in England. It was photographed and then shared online.
