Fortune's List of Most Powerful Women in Asia-Pacific Has 8 Indians
As many as eight Indian women, led by ICICI Bank chief Chanda Kochhar, have made it to the Fortune list of 25 most powerful women "shaping the new world order" in the Asia-Pacific region.
Chanda Kochhar, placed highest among Indian women in the list, has been ranked second across the region. She is managing director and CEO of ICICI Bank, India's largest private sector lender.
State Bank of India chairperson Arundhati Bhattacharya is ranked 4th among the most powerful women in the Asia-Pacific. She is the first woman to be appointed for the top role in India's largest lender.
Next among Indian women in the list is Hindustan Petroleum Corporation chairman and managing director Nishi Vasudeva, ranked 5th in the Asia-Pacific list. (Photo: A Youtube video)
