A MiG-21 fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force overshot the runway while landing at the Srinagar airport today.
The pilot is safe.
Fire engines were reportedly rushed to the runway - which has suffered minor damage - to ensure that the aircraft did not catch fire.
Flight operations were stopped for a brief period due to the incident.
