Blaaze's first ever independent Tamil number reaches out to all sections of people in a colloquial way.

"It's our fundemental right to vote. We all know this, but it gets late, getting up and going out there. This is your little effort to get you to get up and get out there to vote," said the rap artist.

Paul Jacob who wrote the lyrics and composed the music added, "We were inspired by Bob Marley's reggae. He's the one who asked all of us to stand up and fight for our rights. We want all the people feel that their vote makes a difference".

The State Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni, the brains behind the song, has also launched an innovative online campaign to draw voters on the polling day. "Music was missing in our campaign. We wanted to create a pulsating song with which youth cold immediately associate," he said.
