SC panel to submit Clemenceau report
The Supreme Court's Monitoring Committee will submit its report on the decommissioned French warship Clemenceau to the apex court. The committee met in Chennai on Monday to discuss the ship, believed to be carrying large quantities of toxic asbestos on board. Based on the report, the apex court will now decide whether the former aircraft carrier will be allowed to come to the ship-breaking yard at Alang in Gujarat.
