Adani Group eyes metals
Adani Enterprises and Ashapura Minchem are set to form a joint venture (JV) for white metal production. The fifty-fifty partnership will produce 1 mt of alumina and 0.5 mt of Aluminium in Kutch district of Gujarat at an investment of Rs 10,000 crore that will compete with Nalco and Hindalco. The government approval is expected in September.
