Banks seek FM's clarification on loan rates
The Finance Minister laid down the rules on home loan rates to PSU banks but bankers are looking for ways to interpret the rules to their own advantage. While SBI says that it will freeze home loan rates for both old and new customers, other banks say that the FM hasn't stopped them from asking new home loan takers to pay more.
