Bourses hit by tech snag
The basic Infosys numbers may have met expectations but analysts didn't seem to like the fineprint and what it implied for the future. That sent the IT index crashing by 7 per cent on Friday, as funds pushed the sell button on worries about rising cost pressures and a weakening global environment.
