BSNL's undersea cable between Tamil Nadu, home state of telecom minister Dayanidhi Maran, and Sri Lanka is ready for use. The cost for it is Rs 80 crore. But analysts are questioning the feasibility of the investment, as Sri Lanka is not a major hub for international calls.
