BSNL, TRAI lock horns on access deficit charge
BSNL is in the dock with regulator TRAI which wants the state owned telecom company to spell out how it spent money from the access deficit charge account funds that BSNL's rivals pay to subsidise its rural operations. BSNL has submitted a consolidated amount of Rs 43 crore as ADC for March this year.
