Business at the speed of Intel
Four out of out of 5 computers in the world use a processor made by Intel, which completed 40 years on Friday. It took three years for Intel to make its first chip, the 4004, and the chips that it makes today are so fast that a lot of the information can be processed at the speed of light. Technology gurus now predict that as people carry computers around them, the workplace could expand all around.
