The Cabinet on Thursday released the long-awaited new mineral policy. After years of wrangling over details and sorting out fights between steelmakers and ore producers, the policy breaks new ground cutting through the clutter. The policy will ensure that delays granting mineral concessions are cut and if there are delays, a mining tribunal will step in.
