CESC power packed with incentives

India’s private power sector is in for a recharge and one company getting ready to reap the gains is Calcutta based CESC.West Bengal’s electricity regulator is set to allow CESC incentives for maintaining a high power load factor and fuel efficiency. Thanks to which the company was able to cut its power tariffs last quarter.These incentives are expected to reflect in FY08 earnings and boost even further, once the Budge Budge capacity of 250 MW comes on stream by 2010.
