Citi's non-core profile pays off in India

India, it seems, is quite a good business sphere for Citi, so far. Even as Citi exits non-core businesses across the world, some of their best deals are happening in India. First, Citi’s BPO was sold to TCS for $505 million. Then Citi Tech went to Wipro for $127 million. Also, Citi's Vehicle Finance unit is in talks with Shriram Transport.
