Cong pins blame on inflation for poll debacle
The rising prices cost the Congress as it lost polls in Uttarakhand and Punjab. The Congress and the government don't appear to see eye to eye. On a day the government's annual economic survey admitted to a three-year record high inflation of 6.73 per cent, the Prime Mnister said that local factors had influenced Assembly results.
