Costlier fuel may dampen auto sales
Just a couple of days after the auto industry reveled in the news of a strong upturn in slumped sales comes another downer for the sector. As the fuel price hike comes into effect across the country it is a worried auto industry that is bracing for the impact. Most auto makers expect a short term dip in sales but in the long term they also see a move towards more fuel efficient vehicles.
