DoT keen to get FDI guidelines passed
The Foreign Minister and the National Security Advisor are against allowing companies to access India's telecom networks from abroad. Their opposition is seen to be a way to protect the interests of entrenched domestic players. However, the telecom minister is keen to get foreign investment in and cut out delays.
